NEW YORK, United States (U.S.) - Agencies that build One World Trade Centre building to replace the twin World Trade Center buildings (WTC) collapsed on 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks had been left outside the control of the construction cost.
According to the construction of Auditors on Wednesday, the cost of One World Trade Centre building is now booming with an estimated nearly U.S. $ 4 billion (RM12 billion) for the last four years.
Navigant Consulting audit firm said the project was now estimated to cost U.S. $ 14.8 billion (RM44.4 billion), which is 35 percent higher than the original estimate in 2008 was only U.S. $ 11 billion (RM33 billion).
Construction of One World Trade Centre here performed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to replace the collapsed World Trade Center being hit by two terrorist planes.
Meanwhile, the new director of the Port Authority, Patrick Foye, said the agency is concerned with the recommendations of the audit firm seriously. - Agency
